How do shoppers shop in 2017?
We know that practically everyone shopping online interacts with feedback in some way. Using ratings to compare products and get more information from fellow shoppers, reviews ultimately help customers make better decisions.
Feefo set out to get the full picture – from the consumers’ perspective. We surveyed 2,000 everyday shoppers, from all over the UK and every age group, to get a better understanding of four key areas: How shoppers choose to shop in 2017, how they use and leave reviews, how big an issue are fake reviews, and what does the future of reviews look like?

Consumers are becoming increasingly informed. While price (unsurprisingly) makes the biggest impact on decisions, what fellow shoppers say carries a lot of weight. What’s clear from the research, is that the customer journey starts at home, where customers can easily research and compare products and services.
